150 years ago, on June 10th, Serbian Prince Mihailo Obrenovic was assassinated. Historical Archives of Belgrade marks this anniversary with an exhibition in the entrance hall of the Archives presenting the most significant moments from the Prince’s life.
Even though the main street in Belgrade is named after Mihailo Obrenovic and his monument is located in the central city square, the achievements of this ruler does not seem familiar enough to the wider audience. With exhibited archival documents and photographs, visitors of the Historical Archives of Belgrade can learn about the most significant moments from Prince Mihailo’s life and events occurred before and after the Prince’s assassination.
The exhibition is complemented with appropriate publication and it can be seen in the entrance hall of the Archives until the end of September.
