International conference 1917 in History and Fate of Russian Emigration was solemnly opened in Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russian Abroad in Moscow, on the 26th of October 2017.
 
Representatives of 19 countries with 65 lectures participated in the conference. The gathered participants were welcomed by Grigoriy Borisovich Karasin, deputy minister of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation. In the beginning of the conference, director of the House of Russian Abroad, Mr. Victor Aleksandrovich Moskvin and director of Historical Archives of Belgrade, Mr. Dragan Gačić, signed the Cooperation Agreement.
 
Four participants from Serbia participated in the conference. Slobodan Mandić, assistant director of the Historical Archives of Belgrade presented his paper “Russian Emigration and 1917 in the Fonds of the Historical Archives of Belgrade: Participants of the February Revolution in Belgrade”.
