Ministry of Culture and Information organized second in a row conference “Culture and IT” on 16th November 2017 in the House of the National Assembly of Serbia.The conference included key topics in the field of cultural development: culture in digital environment (3D scanning/mapping; virtual reality; extended reality; digital services and cultural institutions; cloud systems; web archiving), as well as examples of collaboration between cultural institutions and IT sector with a goal to present cultural heritage and contemporary creativity throughout modern technologies.
The conference was attended by representatives of cultural institutions, private sector and nongovernment organizations. Historical Archives of Belgrade was represented by Director Dragan Gacic MA and Jelena Nikolic, head of the IT Department.
