IMG 7797Archival Society of Serbia organized international archival conference “Niš 2020” on October 7th 2020, with the main topic "Culture of Memory and Oblivion - Archives Guardians of Memory". The conference was realized in the period between 7th and 9th October. It consisted of three sessions, and it gathered archivists from Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
 
The gathering was greeted by Snežana Radović, director of the Historical Archive of Niš, Lela Pavlović, president of the Archival Society of Serbia and Slavica Solomun, head of a department in the Archives of Serbia. Also, letter of thanks was awarded to all applicant registry offices and the collection of papers from the last year conference was promoted.
 
The Historical Archives of Belgrade was represented at the Conference by five archivists:

The Conference was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and partnering organizations: Historical Archives of Nisš, the Archives of Serbia and Inter Municipal Archives of Čačak.
