Archivists from the Historical Archives of Niš visited the Belgrade Archives on the 5th of April 2022.
The archivists from Niš were welcomed by director Dragan Gačić and by assistant director Jelena Nikolić. Snežana Radović, director of the Historical Archives of Niš, donated to director Gačić a photograph of the city of Niš. The visit was organized with the goal to exchange experiences regarding the process of digitalization of the church registers. The archivists also discussed the implementation of the new Law on archives and archival material, the processing of the archival material in new information system, restoring of damaged documents and potential cooperation between two institutions.
The two directors also arranged the opening of the exhibition “Coat of Arms of Belgrade and Belgrade Municipalities” in Niš in May 2022.
