Icarus HrvatskaICARUS Croatia organized 4th ICARUS days in Trogir, Croatia, 14th - 16th of March. Conference European archival landscape: Reaching out for new horizons was organized by ICARUS (International Center for Archival Research), EURBICA (European branch of International Council on Archives) and State Archives of Split.
 
More than a hundred experts from several European countries participated in the conference which presented ICARUS activities and achievements in digitization processes and in protection of written heritage within current archival and librarian projects, like co:op (Community as Opportunity), digital platform Monasterium, Topotheque and Matricula, as well as the latest initiatives, European Flagship’s project Time Machine.
 
Presentation of project Safe Havens for Archives at Risk involved discussion on many issues concerning digital heritage, use of digital information, initiation of various interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary portals.
 
Mirjana Obradovic, head of the Department for Arranging and Description of Archival Material, was a representative of Historical Archives of Belgrade in Split.
