In the University Library “Svetozar Marković” in Belgrade, on the 8th of May 2022, for the first time, the Remembering Hilda Dajč Award Ceremony was held. The ceremony was supported and enhanced by the presence and address of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Thomas Schieb, Ambassador of Israel, His Excellency Yahel Vilan, Ambassador of France, His Excellency Pierre Cochard and Representative Embassy of Austria, Ms. Karin Traunmüller, Chargé d’Affaires. The award was created by the Foundation Remembering Hilda Dajč, an initiative of Terraforming and Education for the 21st Centur. The Foundation’s main goals are promotion, straightening and encouragement of all efforts in the field of Holocaust Remembrance and the Secnd World War vicitms.
Staring from 2022, the award will be presented annually, in two categories:
Award for outstanding contribution to the remembrance culture Youth Award for social responsibility and active contribution to the community

Historical Archive of Belgrade is the first institution to win the Remembering Hilda Dajč Award for outstanding contribution to the remembrance culture is the for its work on the Jewish Digital Collection.
