A group of archivists from the Historical Archives of Belgrade visited the National Archives of Timisoara on the 4th October 2024. The guests were welcomed by the director of the Archives Dr Raul Ionut Rus, and Mr Stevan Bugarski, a prominent researcher of cultural heritage of Serbian people in Romania, presented to the visitors important archival documentation.
The archivists from Belgrade were able to see archival material on Serbian people living in Banat in the 18th and 19th century, birth and death registers, military registers, imperial diplomas, charters and privileges.
