Historian Dr. Momčilo Mitrović (1948–2025) has died in Belgrade on the 21st of August 2025. He was a Principal Research Fellow and a long term Director of the Institute for Recent History of Serbia.
In 2018 Historical Archives of Belgrade formed a Personal Collection of Momčilo Mitrović which gathers in one place his valuable notes, manuscripts, copies of archival material as well as his e-mails, bibliography and biographical material.
Archival material from the collection will be available to the researchers after adequate sorting and processing of gathered documentation.
