A new publication has been released by the Historical Archives of Belgrade The Construction of the Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade – A Guide to the Archival Material of the Historical Archives of Belgrade, compiled by Senior Archivist Marko Perić.
This publication was created with a desire to make the valuable archival material held by the Historical Archives of Belgrade—which covers every aspect of the Temple’s construction—accessible to future researchers and to anyone wishing to learn more about the building of this sacred and architectural symbol of Belgrade. Even today, when this monumental edifice can be considered complete, it still remains a subject of study; for any interpretations based on historical sources, the archival material of the Historical Archives of Belgrade is an inevitable starting point.
