The standing was prepared due to programme Koča Popović in permanent Serbian history and exhibited in the Library of Obrenovac so opened to the public from September 29 until October 13, 2011.
The Opening Session complemented speeches of Milosav Bojić, publicist, former Capetan of Proleterian Brigade II and friend of Konstantin Popović, Mirjana Obradović, Historical Archives of Belgrade and Zorica Babić, Library Vlada Aksentijević.
Twelve panels describes his life and occupation since childhood and educating period in Belgrade, Genève and Paris, participation in Spanish civil and World War II, afterwar administration and diplomatic activities, until his retirement. Koča's activities in Surrealist Art Movement are specially valued.
