Bogdan Kršić (Sarajevo 1932 – Belgrad 2009), one of the most significant Serbian graphic artists and a long-time professor of the Graphics and Books, Department of Applied Graphics at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, he graduated from the Belgrade Academy of Applied Arts in 1957, received his master's degree in 1959, and was employed at the Faculty of Applied Arts from 1962 to 1997.
Professor Kršić's areas of interest were book graphics (illustration and equipment), graphics, graphic design, ceramics, scenography. He exhibited at solo exhibitions in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Prague, Solingen, New York, Paris and won significant awards in the country and abroad. He was a member of ULUPUDS, ULUS, HOLLAR (Society of Czech Graphic Artists).
 
The archival material for the Legacy of Bogdan Kršić was taken over on two occasions: in November 2014 in the library of the Faculty of Applied Arts, where his personal archive remained, thematically systematized by the employees of the Faculty, and in March 2015 in the apartment of Jelena Kršić, the widow of professor Bogdan Kršić. Mrs. Viktorija Kelec, librarian of the Faculty of Applied Arts, showed great commitment during the formation of the Bogdan Kršić Legacy.
 
The received archive material contains various testimonies about the life and activities of Bogdan Kršić: notes about himself and others, manuscript texts, words from the opening of group exhibitions, templates for illustrations and books, testimonies about his work in the theater, awards, recognitions, decorations, membership in juries, contributions to the biography, exhibition catalogs, correspondence, graphic solutions and works, newspaper clippings, photographs…
