International Conference of archivists in Hungary in organization of the Hungarian Association of Archivists will be held in Szekszard (Hungary) since Jun 29th until July 2nd 2014.
The central subject will be The Great War-Economy, Society and Human destinies.
The Conference will attend Mr Slobodan Mandić, the Manager of the Department for classifying, processing and use of the records, as lecturer with subject The World War I through the fonds, collections and activities of the Historical Archives of Belgrade. (presentation)

Visit of experts to the Municipality of the City of Obrenovac to make extent of damage of documentation devastated in floods 2014
A goal of the visit was establishment of extent of devastation of documentation and records, so giving further instruction for treatment.

Over 10.000 followers of the Facebook profile of the Archives!
On occasion of the Facebook profile of the Archives surpassed 10.000 followers we decided to award one of the most active visitors.
Respecting the will of the winner (Zvlat Bg) to forward the award to institutions as libraries and schools, we contacted Vuk Karadžić Library in New Belgrade and gave as a present the book Modern Serbian State Chronology (1804–2004).
We are pleased with the fact that Vuk Karadžić Library has no publication previously mentioned which is going to be available soon to the users thanks to the will of our winner.

Opened аn exhibition Modernist Architecture in Belgrade, period from 1918 until 1941
On Wednesday, May 28th 2014 in the Gallery of the Historical Archives of Belgrade within Belgrade International Week of Architecture (BINA) Manifestation was opened the exhibition Modernist Architecture in Belgrade, period 1918-1941 of the architect Vanja Panić. The opening ceremony attended, so opened the exhibition, Mr Spasoje Krunić, an architect.
The standing includes plans of 47 public buildings constructed and erected in Belgrade in the period of two world wars in accordance of modern architecture streamline. Among buildings constructed for various purposes the exhibition shows plans of hotels, medical institutions and schools, monuments of banks of the interwar period and insurance companies, different associations, so bridges, Astronomical Observatory in Belgrade, the building of the old power plant, airport hangars (constructed in accordance with the plan of Milutin Milanković) etc.
